For the Gravy
- Paneer (cubed) – 250g
- Butter – 2 tbsp
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Onion (chopped) – 2 medium-sized
- Cashew nuts – 10-12 (soaked in warm water)
- Tomato (pureed) – 3 large
- Green chili – 1 (optional, slit)
- Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
- Yogurt (whisked) – 2 tbsp
- Fresh cream – 3 tbsp
- Milk – ½ cup
- Cardamom powder – ¼ tsp
- Garam masala – ½ tsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Cumin powder – 1 tsp
- Fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi) – 1 tsp (crushed)
- Salt – to taste
For Garnishing:
- Fresh coriander leaves – chopped
- Almond slivers or cashews – for decoration

Prepare Cashew Paste

Blend the soaked cashew nuts with 2-3 tbsp of water to make a smooth paste. Set aside.
Step 2: Sauté the Paneer

- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Lightly fry the paneer cubes until golden. (Optional: soak fried paneer in warm water for 5 minutes to keep them soft.)
